Karma Puja 2018: कर्म महोत्सव हो, मुंडाद्री, ओरायन, संथाली और नागपुर जनजातियों जैसे आदिवासी लोगों के विभिन्न समूहों का एक कृषि त्यौहार है। यह त्यौहार मुख्य रूप से झारखंड और झारग्राम (पश्चिम बंगाल) के क्षेत्रों में मनाया जाता है। इस त्योहार में लोग पूर्ण चंद्रमा यानिकि पूर्णिमा के 11 वें दिन भदो (अगस्त-सितंबर) के हिंदू महीने में धन और बच्चों की देवी करम रानी की पूजा करते हैं। इस आनंददायक घटना से जुड़े कई रोचक कर्म उत्सव अनुष्ठान हैं। कर्म त्यौहार ज्यादातर झारखंड, असम, छत्तीसगढ़, मध्य प्रदेश और भारत के कई अन्य राज्यों द्वारा मनाया जाता है। त्यौहार का नाम “करम” नामक पेड़ के नाम से लिया गया है| यह पेड़ कर्म देवता का प्रतीक है जिसकी शुभ त्यौहार के दिन पूजा की जाती है। कर्म के पेड़ का महत्व अच्छी तरह से स्थापित है क्योंकि यह सभी अनुष्ठानों और रीति-रिवाजों के केंद्र में है।
